ONSITE MASSAGE

Definition Of Onsite Massage:
Onsite massage, also known as seated or workplace massage, is aimed at the corporate market. The acupressure techniques address the key areas of tension i.e. the back, neck and shoulders. It's performed in a specially designed chair and the recipient remains fully clothed throughout the treatment. It can be performed at the employee's workstation or in a meeting room. No oil is used, therefore no change in attire is necessary. The chairs are portable so the service can be brought to your workplace, exhibition or event. The duration of a treatment is between 10 to 25 minutes including consultation; the length of a typical work break. Its aims are to first of all relax and de-stress the client, relieving muscular tension, and then to rejuvenate and revitalise, alert and ready to return to work.

Some Benefits To Employer:
- Enhances employee's concentration, performance & productivity
- Decline in absenteeism & work place injuries
- Shows commitment of management to the wellbeing of staff
- Reduces adverse effects associated with repetitive tasks & prolonged seated positions
- Promotes a stress-free environment
- Effective tool as part of a stress management program
- Minimum disruption to the working day
- No capital investment required

HOLISTIC MASSAGE:

Definition Of Holistic Massage:
Holistic massage is a full body massage, performed on a massage couch with the client lying down, using oils on the skin to facilitate treatment. The scientific method of manipulating body tissues with the hands has therapeutic, healing, relaxing and pleasurable effects. Holistic therapy treats the client as a whole person. That is, as well as treating the symptoms, a holistic therapist will try to tackle the underlying cause. An initial health and lifestyle consultation would identify areas to be addressed by a tailored program, which would incorporate balancing the client's physical, mental, spiritual and emotional wellbeing. Ultimately only the client can be responsible for this by adhering to the prescribed lifestyle changes daily (e.g. increase water intake, practice pilates). The emphasis is on a preventative approach - as the body's systems are independent parts of the person's whole being, optimal health will decrease the chance of illness or disease. The objective of the holistic application of physical touch is the restoration of function to our body's systems, i.e. the muscular, skeletal, digestive, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic, endocrine, nervous systems. There are no limits to the range of diseases and disorders that can be treated in a holistic way.

Some Benefits to Client:
- Relieves muscle and joint soreness and stiffness
- Encourages sleep through sedating the nervous system
- Boosts immunity
- Lowers high blood pressure
- Speeds up digestion and waste removal
- Improves skin tone and colour
- Reduces tension and the effects of stress
- Encourage deeper & therefore more efficient breathing
